Alison Andrews for Target Chic Plaid Shirt
This weekends photo shoot was such fun!! I definitely went outside my dress element. I normally don't do a lot of skirts, but for this look, I thought, let's just give it a try! I always think about my height at 5'3 and how I can get away with wearing skirts and over the knee boots. I proved myself wrong. Once I seen the results, as I was reviewing the photos, I impressed on how the pictures turned out and how this look complemented my body shape. I started blogging six months ago, and I can say that through my experience as a personal blogger on Instagram and web blogging, it has really built my confidence and has empowered me as well. I am more bold and confident with my body. Taking selfie's and pictures of myself was a challenge, but a challenge I have overcome. When I hear testimonials from followers that have sent me private messages telling me that I have been an inspiration to them, it gives me encouragement to keep moving forward with what I am doing! This makes my day!
I have been into plaids this Fall and found this one style that I have not ever seen. I found these plaid shirts at Target designed by Allison Andrews and they are unbelievably cute!
Dress it up and it adds a sophisticated look. The best part about this shirt, it is so light weight and fitted not bulky. This shirt is actually very versatile, with a detailed zipper going down the shoulder which allows you to wear it as a regular plaid shirt or simply zip it down to open it for a cold shoulder. I have had so many compliments on this particular shirt.
The regular price on these button ups are $29.99. The red color, is only $20.48 and the black shirt is regularly priced at $29.99. I still think it's a pretty good price compared to other prices I've paid for plaid button up shirts.
Red Plaid - I am wearing a JoesJeans dark denim skirt with a over the knee "Silas" boot by Dolce Vita from Nordstrom.
Black Plaid - I love this plaid shirt with a long pencil skirt by Calvin Klein from Macy's. This skirt has a stretch material with a faux leather panel in the front of the skirt. Totally gives this pencil skirt an edgy look. Booties always look good with a pencil skirt and added a really good touch to this look. I
Thank you all for your support and encouragement! You rock my world!
